Assign classes to a range of data within one specified field. This is useful for quick classification and interpretation of the data values.

Performance risk:	Moderate performance risk. The performance is influenced by the size of the text file being imported, which is determined by number of rows and/or the number of columns of the dataset.

Requirements

• A dataset that contains at least one double, integer or timestamp column.

Results

• A dataset with one new field that contains the user-defined classes.

• Each field that needs to be classified requires a separate configuration and execution.

• The original fields will be unaffected by this operation.
